3. What is Wildcard? Provide the examples of MS-DOS external and internal command with their execution syntax. (2+3=5)
4. Describe the concept and importance of disk defragmentation. (2+3=5)
5. Explain briefly about the application of word processing system. Write in steps how you change the font in a word document to Times New Roman with font size 12 point and line spacing of 1.5. (3+2=5)
6. How do you create table of contents in word processing? What is macro? Write. (4+1=5)
7. Discuss the different types of computer software and the generation of programming language with example. (5+5=10)
8. Discuss the importance of Mail Merge operation in MS-Word with appropriate example. Briefly explain the steps of Mail Merge operation. (3+7=10)

9. Write a code in HTML to create a web page containing at least: title text, body, background color, a table, an image and a text with hyperlink. (5)
10. Describe the use of different heading levels (<h1> to <h6>) for creating page hierarchy. (5)
11. What are animation and transition effects in PowerPoint presentation? Write down the advantages of using animation effect to the texts or objects in the presentation slides. (5)
12. Why are queries created in a database? Explain the process of creating a simple query in MS Access. (2+3=5)
13. What are the different ways to add a table in Access database? Explain. (5)
14. What is cell in MS-Excel? Differentiate between functions and formulas in MS-Excel. (1+4=5)
15. What is electronic spreadsheet? What are the main features of MS-Excel? How does it differ from MS-Access? Write. (2+5+3=10)
16. Briefly explain the terms primary key, foreign key and relationships in database management system. Write a query in SQL to display cust_id, cust_name, item_name and item_qty from the tables tbl_customer and tbl_item where item_qty is more than 20; cust_id is a common field in both tables. Assume your own columns for additional atttributes. (6+4=10)
